Change 3

5.K.2. Definition of model aircraft

The competitor may change his model during the working time.
The competitor is only allowed one plane at a time in the launching and landing area during the working time.

Change 4

5.K.2. Definition of model aircraft

In case of a frequency conflict and a need for a frequency switch during the contest, before start of the contest the organiser must inform about it all competitors that will be required to switch their frequencies during the contest. In that case the organiser must clearly state which frequency will be used by each competitor with a conflicting freqency in each round. In case there arises a need for a switch of frequency assigned to the competitor, that was not known before the start of the contest, the competitor that has to switch his frequency must be given at least 10min extra preparation time for frequency change.

Change 5

5.K.2. Definition of model aircraft

In case the competitor used a model not conforming to the limitations defined by the rules. His round score is set to 0 for each round in which he was using this model.

Change 6

5.K.6. Definition of round

A group should be a minimum of 4 pilots.

Change 7

5.K.6. Definition of round

Contest Director may allow a competitor to conduct a test flight during the preparation time for a round i the model was repaired or there is a suspicion that the model is broken. The test launch and landing should be conducted in the launching and landing area. Such a test flight does not suspend preparation time.

Change 8

5.K.6. Definition of round

The organizer should try to make the groups in each round so that during the whole contest each pair of competitors would fly in the same group (to the extent it is possible) the same number of times.

Change 9

5.K.8.8.B. Task H version B

Task H(B) was added to the list of FAI F3K tasks

5.K.8.8.B Task H version B (Increasing time by 15 s)
During the working time, the competitor may accomplish as many launches as he likes. Each competitor must try to complete a flight of 30 seconds. Once this is accomplished, the next flight time must beincremented by 15 seconds. The longest flight time is 120 seconds. To reach any specific flight time, the number of launches is unlimited. The time of the last flight is taken into account. In adverse weather conditions, the organiser may reduce the increment to 10 seconds (30 s - 40 s, etc. up to 90 s). Flight score are given 1 point per completed second of flight. For each second of flying the competitor will get 1 point but only to the max. time of this flight.
Minimum working time - 10 minutes.

Change 10

5.K.8.16 Task P ( 1, 2, 3, 4 minute flight, any order)

Because in FAI F3K rules it is unclear whether the times given in the name of the task are maxes or required times there was made a clear distinction in the form of two versions of taks P

Task P (A) ( 1, 2, 3, 4 minute flight (max times), any order)
Unlimited number of throws. Only 4 longest flights count with 1, 2, 3, 4 minutes as maxes for counted flights.
Minimum working time: 10 min

Task P (B) ( 1, 2, 3, 4 minute flight (required times), any order)
Unlimited number of throws. 1, 2, 3, 4 minutes are maxes and simultaneously required times for the flights to count (you have to fly at least 1, 2, 3, 4 minutes flights for the flight to count).
Minimum working time: 12 min
